About Otluk HotPot

Welcome to Otluk Hot Pot, where bold flavours, fresh ingredients, and warm hospitality come together. Inspired by Uyghur flavours and our love for hot pot, we created Otluk to bring a unique Halal dining experience to Toronto. From carefully selected meats and fresh vegetables to flavourful broths and house specialties, everything is prepared for sharing around the table with family and friends. At Otluk, we believe great food is more than just a meal — it’s about bringing people together. Fresh ingredients. Halal food. Great company. Welcome to Otluk Hot Pot.

Course 1

Aaa Premium Lamb Slice

Top-grade lamb, hand-cut into wide ribbons with fat and lean layered evenly across every slice. It turns sweet the moment it meets the broth and carries no gaminess at all, which is why regulars keep sending it back for another round. Best with sesame sauce and a spoonful of crushed garlic.

Course 2

Handmade Beef Balls

Beef is pounded by hand until the paste turns springy, then rolled fresh in our own kitchen instead of pulled from a freezer bag. They bounce against the teeth and release clear beef broth the moment you bite through. Drop them in early and wait for them to float up.

Course 3

Chicken Thigh

Boneless thigh meat, trimmed and marinated in house so the seasoning works all the way through rather than sitting on the surface. It stays juicy where breast would go dry, and takes on chili and sesame beautifully in the pot. A quiet favourite that empties faster than anyone expects.

Hand-Cut Meats, Broths Built From Scratch

Everything at Otluk Hotpot starts in our own kitchen. Beef and lamb arrive whole and are portioned and sliced through the day, never pulled frozen from a bag. Our broths are simmered with bone, spice and aromatics until they are clear enough to drink on their own, and our chili oil is toasted in small batches so the fragrance stays sharp. Seafood is kept on ice and put out in short rotations. We would rather refill the bar ten times a night than let a single tray sit too long.

Chicken is braised down with potatoes, peppers and onion until the sauce thickens and coats everything on the plate. The potatoes go soft enough to break apart under a spoon and soak up all the spice around them. Made to be shared, and it holds a whole table.

Uyghur Dry Chili Chicken Plate

Chicken is wok-tossed with a mountain of dried chili, cumin and Sichuan pepper until the edges turn lacquered and crisp. The heat is dry and fragrant rather than oily, with garlic and scallion cutting through every bite. Half the fun is hunting the chicken out from under the chilies.
